The Fall and the Need for Redemption

Sep 28, 2025

The story of humanity's fall is not a quaint myth for children's story books but the sober account of how paradise was lost. In Eden, the serpent's whisper lured mankind from trust in God to trust in self. With one act of disobedience, the world tilted from harmony into chaos. Death, shame, and estrangement from God entered like unwelcome guests and have remained with us ever since.

Yet even in the shadows of Eden, a promise flickered - the seed of the woman would crush the serpent's head. The fall explains why redemption is needed, why Christ came, and why our hearts ache for restoration. Sin is not merely the breaking of rules but the breaking of relationship, and only a Redeemer could bridge the gulf.
