The Coming King
The prophets spoke into darkness, and among their words gleams one of the brightest promises: a child would be born, a Son given, who would reign forever in justice and peace. Isaiah's vision is of a King unlike any other, a ruler who bears divine titles and ushers in a kingdom that will never end. This is no ordinary monarch but the long-awaited Messiah, Christ the Lord.
In this prophecy we see the heartbeat of Advent, the anticipation of hope, and the promises of redemption. The coming King is God's answer to humanity's longing for justice, peace, and restoration. His rule is not fleeting, nor His reign fragile. He is the Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace - the King who has come, who reigns now, and will come again in glory.
