Spiritual Warfare

Aug 17, 2025

There is a war being waged around us, invisible yet no less real. It is not fought with guns or swords, but with lies and fear, with accusations and temptations. The Christian life is not a walk through a garden, but a march through contested ground. Scripture does not flatter us with the illusion of safety. It calls us to be vigilant, alert, and armored. For we have an enemy, not of flesh and blood, but of principalities and powers, spiritual forces of evil that prowl and conspire to tear down truth and enthrone confusion.

These forces do not always storm the gates with violence. Often, they creep in with subtle distortions, reshaping what is good into what is convenient, and what is true into what is comfortable. Their chief aim is to unseat Christ from the throne of the heart and to enslave souls with chains forged from lies. But God has not left His people defenseless. He has given armor, not of steal but of Spirit, not to parade in, but to stand in. And stand we must, for the day is evil, but the Lord is strong.
